ChUcK E. ChEeSe'S

I realize I have been doing like 10 posts a day. I was a month behind and I had to catch up. Plus Carson is getting 2 bottom teeth in at the moment. I think this experience is more painful for me than for him. The kid doesn't sleep all day or at night, and he cries unless being fed of held. AHHH! I am not a good enough mom to put up with this. Plus he is normally so wonderful and mellow that it is really killing me. I adore him, and I love being a mom, but this has inspired me to double up on my birth control:) So as he cries in his bed, because he hasn't sleep in 8 hours, I huddle in the corner with the computer and play catch up. Does that make me a bad person?Anyways...

Before Carson went crazy, we went to Chuck E. Cheese's...where a kid and be a kid. Thank you Troy Wilde for the most exciting day of my life. 24 years old and I finally went to Chuck E Cheese's for the first time!!!! It was awesome. We went last Saturday, which happened to be Carson's 5 month birthday. Danny, Carson, Troy, Landon, and myself went and played all the games for the morning. We will defiantly be regulars and some day we might be able to get the ski ball bonus tickets.

Four Generations of Millward Men

Here they are...Four generations of of the Millward men. They are a good enough looking bunch I suppose:) Carson is lucky to have such great genes. Those genes aren't getting him any height (that is where my side comes in) but they certainly make for great brothers, husbands, and fathers. I probably should have had a white shirt on Carson, but it was just a last minute thought before Grandma and Grandpa went home. We were actually headed home to Philly the morning after this was taken. The Millwards really are a wonderful family. I can't wait for Carson to get a little bigger and get to know his grandpa and his great grandpa better. We love you guys!!!

I think he is big enough now

The day before we left St. George to come back to Philly we took the 4 wheelers out for a spin. They are so fun. Carson was nearly 5 months old, plenty old to go for a ride.

Swimming days in St. George

Danny and Carson, my twin boys. They make rash guards and safari tour guide hats look good!

Grandma Millward and Carson basking in the sun. Thank you Mama Millward for Carson's cute hat. He is all ready to live in St. George.

Build-A-Bear

My mom and I got my niece Molly a Build-A-Bear for her 7th birthday while I was in Oregon. While I was waiting for Molly to chose which animal she wanted, Carson and I played dress up.
He really should wear glasses!

Family Reunion- Astoria Oregon

A few of us went to Pig n' Pancake for breakfast and then walked around Seaside

Carson and I went to family reunion over the 4th of July weekend. Danny couldn't get time off work. My family is starting to think he doesn't really exist. Maybe next year he will make it... It was really fun. We stayed in Oregon a total of 10 days. We enjoyed 4 warm sunny days on the beach for reunion!!!! I don't think the Oregon coast has ever been nice that many days in a row. It was so fun to see all of our family. We watch fire works on the beach and had a bon fire.

My niece Molly and I built an award winning sand castle at the Powell Family Sand Castle Building Contest. We won the prize for "Best Protected Castle." Molly was so excited and surprised that we won something. It was awfully cute.

Devlin and Stephanie's Wedding

While we were gallivanting on the west side we went to an amazing wedding. Danny's best friend Devlin got married and Danny got to be the best man. It was four days of food, friends, and fun. We went to some really great restaurants, hung out on the beach, stayed in Devlin's beautiful house with the entire wedding party (about 17 people), and enjoyed their gorgeous wedding day. It was so fun for Danny to hang out with his best buddy back in California. Here is the wedding party. It was such a pretty wedding. It was outside surrounded by redwood trees.

The beach was great. The weather was perfect. It was Carson's first trip to the beach. He loved it, except for the water. He is is father's child, he doesn't like anything cold.

The rehearsal dinner was delicious.

This is in the Las Vegas airport getting ready to fly to San Jose, California.

Rice Cereal

At 4 month, 1 week, and almost 17 pounds, we thought it was time for Carson to try some rice cereal. We fed it to him for the first time in St. George. He struggled, but he looked awfully cute. After several attempts we discovered he liked it best with the mama's milk.

Oh the places we've been

The Millward Family just completed a month of wonderful madness. Johnny Cash comes to mind..."I've been everywhere man".

It started in June when we decided to drive from Willow Grove Pennsylvania to St. George Utah. We drove to Pittsburgh the first night and stayed at a great hotel that I bid for on Priceline. Des Moines IA, was the next stop. Then to Denver CO on day three where we spent Father's Day with Mike and Lindsay. They made some delicious steak. We left Friday evening and got to St. George on Monday afternoon. Carson did great. He is the best baby in the world. Danny and I took turns sitting in the back playing with him when he was awake. Thanks to Jen A. I have a pump that can connect to the lighter in the car. We didn't have to stop or take him out of his carseat to feed him. I would just pump and give him a bottle. The poor kid probably got bed sores from sitting in his carseat for so many hours at a time. In one month Carson drove across the country, and went to Utah, California, and Oregon. Our flight home made 6 flights for Carson before he was 5 months old. It was so great seeing friends and family. We can't wait to move back to west.
