Williamsburg

We were busy busy this month. We went to Williamsburg, Virginia for 2 nights. We actually did that before Gettysburg. It was really fun. Carson did great in the car. He slept all the way to D.C, I fed him and he went back to sleep until we got there. It took about 5 1/2 hours. We stayed at the good old Travelodge. We walked around Colonial Williamsburg, went to Jamestown, Yorktown, and took the ferry to Surry. It was Carson's and Danny's first time on a ferry. I liked it there more than Danny. Carson slept great in the good old pack n play. I am starting to get depressed by the lack of pictures we have with the 3 of us. I think in the 3 months Carson has been out of the womb we have like 7 pictures. We have 1 from our trip to Williamsburg.

Camping in Gettysburg

Carson had his first adventure camping. It was really one of the few times Danny and I have been camping too. It was really fun. Danny set up the tent, like Dads do, and made a great fire. I took care of Carson and made the meals, like Moms do. It got down to 30 degrees the night we camped. Poor Carson was like a little ice cube. He slept in his pack n play until about 1. Then we realized his face and hands were blue so he came in the sleeping bag with me. Gettysburg is so pretty. We loved it there. Danny totally went into Lewis and Clarke mode climbing things and making new discoveries. We want to go back for sure. And we decided we love to camp as long as we have an air mattress and the temperature doesn't drop below 50. We are hard core.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH HIM.....HELP!!!!!!!

I think everyone knows that i adore my baby boy. He is fat and yummy and I am crazy about him. With that said...He is driving me crazy. All of the sudden the kid doesn't sleep. He still does pretty good at night (for the most part) and only gets up once. During the day however he has stopped napping. When he does fall asleep he will only stays asleep for like an hour sometimes less. Then he wakes up. Sometimes he will go back to sleep after I leave him crying in his bed for 40 minutes, but by the time he falls asleep it is time for him to eat. He will take a pretty long nap if I am holding him, but then I get nothing done. I was worried he was hungry, but look at the kid, how can he be hungry? He has enough storage to last a year. Then I thought he was sick or something, but he seems fine the rest of the day. What is a girl to do?? Anyone have any tricks?

Even though I am frustrated, look at these cute pictures of my boy.

Cousins

Carson met his cousin Ella for the first time last week. It was the first time Danny and I met Ella and that Sam had met Carson too. It was really fun having them here. Those kids didn't get to take a nap in their beds for a week. We took them all over the place. We went shopping in Montgomeryville, King of Prussia mall, hung out in Philadelphia, we and saw some Amish people, and had a picnic at the lake. It was great. Carson and Ella were both great babies. Ella is all smiles and Caron is 5oz bigger than her even though she is 5 months older. What a small fry.

Strawberry Festival

Well, we went to a silly festival in Peddler's Village. It was a strawberry festival so we were expecting tons of fresh strawberries for really cheap and huge delicious desserts. Not so much. There were no fresh berries and only small, over-priced desserts. There is a great scrap booking store there and any time Troy, Crystal, and Landon are around it is sure to be a good time. It didn't rain and turned out to be a pretty nice day so I can't complain too much.
